Living off the grid prices

A stack of gold coins is something everyone would like to have. They represent wealth, riches and savings. Something you definitely wont have should you decide to go off grid with solar. The costs are far greater than what you get back in energy. The most expensive in the whole system will be the batteries. And they will not be 3 times more expensive to buy as an initial cost, the will have to be exchanged regularly as well.
