A hammer and other tools can be practical to own when doing all sorts of maintance in your house. In the below article we discuss the maintance that needs to be done when you own an off grid solar system. Changing batteries will be a necessity for example since they cannot possibly last as long as the solar modules themselves. 40 years is just too long for a battery to be working.
